Wedding is a sacred sacrament where a couple are bonded together for life to look and take care of each other. This is the moment when you will be saying vows to that person whom you truly love and these vows are really essential in a wedding because it is the contract between you, your wife/husband and God.

As usual like any wedding there would be a documentary. And my job is to make sure that I will capture the moments that are so memorable in the couple's life. It is very tiring but very self-fulfilling to see and capture this kind of celebration. I must say that candid shots are the key to capturing epic moments but you could always tell your subject to repeat it if you miss the shot ,if it can be repeated of course. Like any artist, we photographers also have our mood swings, this phenomenon is usually cause by fatigue, stress and BOREDOM. Hey I'm not saying that there's no passion in what I'm doing, but actually these things around us really do affect us in our creativity. Like what happened to me before this wedding, I was verrrrrrrrrrryyyy sleeepy that my creativity went sleeping too. ughh I hate moments like that, who doesn't?  But when I touched the monopod I felt like I was Gandalf the grey , creativity rushed vigorously through my veins, fueling my heart and mind. The monopod opened many great angles and that is easily achieve through it's help in adding more stability.

Chelsea turns 18

Eighteen, for men is just a point in life where we can brag "hey I'm eighteen I can do this and that", but for women it is a mile stone where they can be officially called ladies. 

So much for the intro (as if it was that long haha XD). This is my second time to cover a debut from start to end. Before the debut I was so worried that my camera D5100 would not focus properly as it did to my previous shoots where many great moments thrown to trash. I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this thing. I twisted a bolt inside the body near the sensor with the mirror raised as instructed by the Youtube video I saw regarding how to fix D5100 focus malfunction. And it worked like magic cause it was so fast in focusing the subject, not that razor sharp though because the lens I use(35mm 1.8g) doesn't take sharp images at its lowest aperture. We all want to be healthy,don't we? Being healthy is not only about having proper diet, having proper exercise, and having self-discipline. But to be genuinely healthy is to be healthy both spiritually and physically. In maintaining a healthy body there are many temptations like those which are commonly known as fatty foods. We love those fat juicy foods, but those foods are making your body unhealthy. The same concept goes to your spiritual health, there are also "fatty foods" (I will not cite some examples because we all know what is good and bad). Being in a Christian community will help you recover and cleanse yourself from the "fatty foods", it is like a gym for your spiritual health. 

Crossroad Christian Community Center is offering this opportunity to help you strengthen your spiritual health. You will be placed in a cell group which you will grow spiritually healthy with the help of the members in your group which will eventually become your family. A man who walks alone will be lost but a man who walks with others will be surely be in the right path. 

Not to mention, christian rocks songs will be played always!!!! Now who says worshiping God would be boring?

Tour Americana

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it", George Santayana's famous aphorism. Well this is the scariest thing you'd ever want . Imagine yourself battling in a war minus all the modern technology on your side with just those old guns that have a very small rate of fire and are not sturdy enough to withstand impacts, chances are you'll die the moment you step out of the base.

Just yesterday,Galleon San Pedro Tours hosted a test tour for their upcoming tour the "Tour Americana" where you'll visit historical places in Cebu that was greatly influenced or part of the American era and Its history will be briefly discussed.

It's really been a long time since my last post. Never had enough time to do some posting since semester break was full of activities. 

This is actually my second time to shoot a wedding but the first time to shoot it in full coverage, from the smallest detail to the biggest. All the ideas gathered from consistent viewing of wedding photographs taken by professional photographs, the drooling of those awesome shots, and the passion that keeps on bursting to become one of the best and be the best paid off. I know this is not the best you've ever seen but this is a good start. Yes it's bias for me to be the judge of this but I'm really happy of the results..... see for your self. And by the way good and bad comments are appreciated.
